Just when I sat at work booking the flight to Stockholm, Anders Åkergren aka Dandy Digital asked me when I was in Stockholm next. Perfect timing.
I played at Morfar Ginko in Stockholm a thursday in April and this is what the last 100 minutes sounded like. Some new, some old, mostly house.

Fredagsmixen Nr 7

It took a few months, but here it is. I sacrificed a good nights sleep, which is a rare thing with two kids, to record this mix.
It’s a bit heavier, faster, harder than usual. A bit more banging. I have been very influenced by Adam Beyers Drumcode-podcast and Reset Robots mixes.
It is very dancefloor friendly, I guess it would sound like this on a house night if I’m playing the last set of the night.

I know it’s not cool to be that old guy that only talks about the good old days. But when I found and listened to this, I thought I had to upload it as well.
It was one of my coolest gigs ever. Warming for two of my favorite djs, James Zabiela and Sasha. It was at Munchenbryggeriet, with 1500 people.

This is an old mix I did in 2003 that got played on the swedish national radio show P3 Klubb. Last saturday (110108) the last program of it’s sister show P3 Dans was broadcast and now the only show that played electronic dance music is gone from the swedish radio.
The show was started by radio producers and djs Calle Dernulf, Linda Nordeman and Germund Stenhag if I remember correctly. By the way Linda, I’m born in 1974, not ’76.
The whole tracklist for the show is to be found here. My mix closed the show and started with the Rhythm & Sound track.
I think this mix was part of the 4 Seasons Sound System series we recorded and it’s all vinyl!
A nice chilled mix for New Years Day

I was originally planning on uploading another mix by Ronny Elvebakk, but Soundclouds copyright-machine found a track by George Michael in the mix, and blocked it. So please, don’t buy any music from Epic. They clearly don’t want their artists to be listened to.
Anyway, this is a long nice chilled mix from my good friend Ronny Elvebakk.

James Zabiela couldn’t make it to Manchester due to the snow and heavy wheather so Yousef finished the night at the Warehouse Project off, following Sasha.
Yousefs own words about the mix:
2 hour set 3 – 5 am. after Sasha, who was laying down 130 bpm techno.
this is kind of a festival set, or a set in reverse, i had to start big to keep the 3000 strong crowd rocking and interested and then eventually moved toward a more typical house sound and eased off the techno while keeping the energy high. there are some fresh tracks and some that have been great for me in 2010
