This mix has been waiting in line to be recorded for a while. It’s pretty much based around two wonderful tracks which got me to remember how much I love the Tyrant sound of Craig, Lee and Sasha.

It also has a slight deep Berlin-esque feel to it. Never been to Berlin, but I guess some of these producers are big there. It also touches the sound I used to play at Grodan Cocktail Club 6-7 years ago. That deep driving slow minimal stuff I loved to play as warm up.

But this is fresh for 2012. Enjoy. Tracklist coming up after the weekend. I want you to listen and be surprised instead of forming an image of what it would sound like by reading a tracklist.

But it’s deep.

Friday the 13th. Sometimes you just feel it. You have to get behind the decks (the Traktor controller actually) and record something.

After djing at the local nightclub a few weeks ago I were left asking for more. The summertime. I just want to stand in a bar in the afternoon playing chilled out tunes for the afternoon drinking crowd.

This is deep house Ibiza style. There is a lot of Ibiza in this mix. What makes a track an Ibiza-anthem? Sometimes, it’s just the hihats. Sometimes it’s a spiritual thing.

It’s got a lot of vocals. Don’t let that scare you away. There is some awesome vocals in this mix. I think it might end up around 122-123 BPM. It’s deep.

Last few weeks I’ve been working on a mix with a little more commercial edge. But I kept losing my interest in the music halfway through the mix.

So I did a mix with some of my favorite tunes right now. Not surprisingly I’m into a lot of James Blake and Jamie XX. So there is some of that, and there is some deep house. As always.

Just when I sat at work booking the flight to Stockholm, Anders Åkergren aka Dandy Digital asked me when I was in Stockholm next. Perfect timing.

It took a few months, but here it is. I sacrificed a good nights sleep, which is a rare thing with two kids, to record this mix.

It’s a bit heavier, faster, harder than usual. A bit more banging. I have been very influenced by Adam Beyers Drumcode-podcast and Reset Robots mixes.

It is very dancefloor friendly, I guess it would sound like this on a house night if I’m playing the last set of the night.

A new deep house mix from me, myself and I. You could say that this mix was sponsored by Native Instruments and Traktor, since they paid for most of the tracks. (You get $10 to spend at Beatport for every Traktor-item you buy.)

This mis is a bit similar to Nr 5. Somewhere between deep house and minimal. But this one is a bit less preplanned and programmed like previous ones. The tunes are awesome, and that’s the main focus, right? Funky.

The first Fredagsmixen in a while. I had so much music that I wanted to fit in, that’ll be quite easy to do another type of deep house in a week or two.

This is deep funky minimal and techy house. I think the tracklist says it all. I’m not keen on posting tracklists since I like to be suprised when listening to mixes, but I want to be service minded and I’m thinking SEO here. Hehe.

This is also the first mix I have recorded in Traktor Pro, with a Traktor Kontrol X1. Works really well, even if I have a lot to learn.
